Cypress Lakes Lodge incorporates a mind, body and spirit approach to recovery, crafting the balance of life enriching treatment, wellness, and healthy relationships that are sustainable. We are located in the beautiful rolling hills of East Texas on over 200 acres of land, peppered with gorgeous pines, magnolias, cypress and mature oak trees. Our location is the perfect place for those in recovery. This setting promotes relaxation, reflection, and an oxygen-rich environment that clears the mind and opens the soul to effective recovery treatments. In addition to the lush green landscape encompassing all sides of Cypress Lakes Lodge, the property sits right on an 18 acre lake, offering clients and staff a therapeutic backdrop during counseling sessions and rehabilitation activities. At Cypress Lakes Lodge we carefully break down past behaviors and trauma that brought each client to us, we then rebuild everything from the ground up for a balanced, confident and rejuvenated you.
Our recovery lodge in the Houston, TX area fosters support, loving care and acceptance of every difficult problem our clients share with us. We meet our clients at a point in their lives when they need recovery the most, and wherever that is, we embrace their decision to choose sobriety and to maintain it. The method of support here at Cypress Lakes Lodge is that no matter where you've begun treatment or decided to seek treatment, you can and will find success if given the right plan that works specifically for you. Some of our centers' staff are living in recovery since the best way to feel comfortable for our clients is when they feel a kinship amongst their peers. The staff at Cypress are a living example of the successes that can be yours if you stay actively engaged in your sobriety. Many others on the Cypress Lakes Lodge team are comprehensively versed in addiction, mental health and medical therapies to provide the comfort and support that makes our center in Texas unique.
We have given support to people from all over including Lufkin, Jasper, Livingston, Corrigan, Beaumont, Conroe, The Woodlands, Huntsville and more.
Mind fulfills the aspect of engagement needed to begin any active recovery program; clients need to be fully engaged and have the right mindset to participate and succeed. We work first by developing an open mind to treatment; those that are open to accepting the possibilities of treatment progress quickly since they have the desire to remove all obstacles within themselves, allowing therapies and integrative methods to take effect. Mindfulness is a key component to this side of our holistic approach that will come after a full detox has been completed. Mindfulness will teach our clients to listen to their body, learn to release stresses and to understand where these powerful feelings of addiction come from.
Body practices begin after we engage in mindfulness exercise that coincides with individual treatment therapies and group fitness classes. We offer clients active engagement to put their body to work and to find the balance between awareness and physical connection. Clients that find mind and body connections learn how their addiction affects the mind and body in addition to how they feel with a clearer mind and rejuvenated body. In addition to the physical side of reawakening the body, we offer nutritional counseling complete with dietician designed meal plans to support body movement and filter toxins throughout the recovery process.
Spirit connection comes after we have conditioned the mind and body through mindfulness and physical fitness practices. As the body and mind build a solid basis for connection and healthy understanding, the spirit will open to all the positive aspects recovery can offer when we are free from the grasp of drugs, alcohol, and addictive behaviors. The spirit connection is harvested and nurtured as we build upon our spiritual beliefs that will anchor us to what makes us human, fallible and completely open to recovery. We offer our clients the flexibility to explore any mode of spiritual practice they desire, no matter the classification or belief in a higher power. When the spirit is fed, the body and mind are in sync; you will not believe the progress you will make. This combination of mind, body and spirit is complete holistic synergy at its best.
